October was another busy month for the
DR industry and the Response Magazine team. From the DMA conference in
Chicago to local events later in the month,
including the first Wheelchair Foundation Los
Angeles gala celebration, Response was there
to meet and discuss business with the leaders
of the direct response world.
The Direct Marketing Advertising Community (DMAC) held its quarterly
get-together on Nov. 1 at Shutters in Santa Monica, Calif. Above,

Halloween celebrations swept the DR business. Above, some of the Response
